In 1989, the National Housing Partnership, a congressionally chartered
corporation, founded The NHP Foundation to be the preeminent provider
and manager of quality affordable low- and moderate-income housing.

and the mission of a charitable organization,

NHP Foundation has the flexibility to acquire, build,
rehabilitate,
and provide affordable housing to communities throughout the country.
